This post, though, is the the key post for learning how Jack gets the shaft. Jack always gets the shaft. But then in the final chapter, the summary, everything is -um- summarized, and things look up a little for our protagonist in the end.

And he's a fool for thinking that it ever gets any better......

While you were doing whatever you were doing, I was writing and recording the last two chapters of Almost Friday. I have officially finished the project.

Now I need to finish out Blogathon, which basically consists of sitting around waiting for the posting times to come up for me to put the audio online. I've been considering how to fill that time.

I might visit some of the other Blogathonners, but I don't think I really have the energy to sift through 48+ posts on even a fraction of the registered blogs. I would want to review and comment, but I'm just not energized enough for that....
