I have my presentation for Managment class on Tuseday night this week, and that's just the beginning of this busy week.

I've put together a ton of Poewrpoint slides and written some notes and it's still not quite done.  I hope it'll all be finished by the time I'm ready to give the presentation.  I hope it's acceptable.  I have no doubt that it'll be better than anything the other teams in our class have to offer, since I've spent some actual time on it.  I don't know how students at that school could do all of their other work and complete this project to the level that I've done it already.

Anyway, look forward to that on this site as soon as I get a chance to finish and post it.  The charts are pretty.

On Wednesday, Berta leaves for a work trip to Utah.  Apparently, the person that needs training out there is too afraid to fly, and since she's the customer, Berta has to fly to her.  It's funny that Berta isn't really in support, and has to do this.  It's ok, just weird that they'd send Berta.  It's also strange that she had a work trip at about this time last time...  But I can't say any more about that right now.

So I'll be at home alone with Abby on Wednesday night, all of Thursday, and Friday morning.  This should be a challenge.  I'm sure Abby will be fine.  I have these weird fears of Abby going crazy, crying, "Where's Mommy?" the whole time Berta's gone.  I'll just have to plan some activities for us, since it's supposed to be nice outside toward the end of the week.  We'll probably want to stop by the book store and look for an audiobook...

Thursday morning will be the real challenge.  Since there is usually someone around for Abby to see in the morning, it's not a problem when we're both home.  But at some point on Thursday morning, I'll be wanting a shower, which is going to take place on a floor that Abby can't get to.  Hmm.  I'll have to think on this more.  The solution, of course, is to wake up as early as Berta and not spend as much time in the bathroom.

I'll also have to take Abby to and pick her up from school on those days, since I'll need to have the car seat with me.  It should be interesting getting to work on time and getting Abby ready for school.  Oh, boy.

Friday after Berta gets back she wants to drive out to Johnstown for a baby shower.  I've been told that while Abby and Berta will participate in this shower, I am not required to attend (you know, being male).  And so, I will probably waste these two hours studying for finals which take place next Monday and Tuesday.  These two hours could perhaps be the only time I get to study before the exams.  Oh yay.

But then the week after that (I think) my Astronomy class starts.  I'm anxious to get that going.  I should scope out the building and see where I have to go so I'm not wandering around all over trying to find my class, like some common school nightmare.  Man, I hate those.

At some point I will need a vacation from work.  Maybe I should take off some time around my birthday celebration, just to have an excuse for having time off.  It's been a while since I've done some serious scheduled vacationing.  I'm holding off on the trip to the Poconos that we've been talking about to ponder a bit more about the potential drain on my vacation time that I can foresee later this year.  I'm thinking about taking some time off at the end of November, and I'll already have a week down in October.  So it might not be a good idea to take a lot of time off this summer.  We'll see.
