I bet you’re all thinking what’s that got to do with a performance, so I will elaborate. Last year, I travelled to Disneyland Paris with our school’s musc department. I’m not overly musical, but I could sing. I used to play the piano…badly. There was about twenty of us in the Junior Choir, and I can’t even remeber what we sang, but I do remeber that feeling of absolute confidence, and of the awe that I was standing there singing my heart out for all the people watching. I think that everyone should have the opportunity to feel how I did that afternoon. Everyone needs confidence in themselves.
