I've been putting some effort into getting some special things ready for the Asymptomatic anniversary.
November 30th will mark 4 years of weblogging here. I don't want to get into reminiscing here, because then I wouldn't have anything to say when the anniversary arrives, but I did want to give you a preview of the site since I've been working so hard to get everything ready. It's killing me having sat on the new design for as long as I have.
So I've included this thumbnail picture of the new site to offer a preview of what the site will look like on Anniversary Day. I know it's not much and you can't play with it, but it's just a teaser to get you to come see the site when it's finally realeased. No single person is privvy to all of the changes that I've made to the site, so there will be something for everyone.
One of the neat things about the design is that it's completely CSS. I've been doing a lot of work lately trying to eliminate tables from my designs as layout structures. It turns out that IE renders CSS layouts significantly faster than tables. Not to mention that they're usually a smaller download.
Anyway, all of the old functionality is there, and there is some new stuff to play with, too. So be sure to come to the site on Monday when everything will be revealed!
