Be Healthy. Drink Barium.

I don't think that I mentioned here before that I've been having these pretty bad chest pains.

They've been happening on and off since February.   Towards the end of July, they started getting really bad, though, and then didn't go away.  I really thought that a heart attack was imminent.

On the Wednesday morning before my acting final, I was sweaty and kind of panicked, and I finally called the doctor and arranged an immediate appointment.  The whole drive there I kept thinking, "Please don't have a heart attack whhile driving to the doctor."

WordPress 1.5.2 Changes - In Plain English

This list details the changes made from WordPress 1.5.1.3 to 1.5.2. I tried to take the developer-speak out of the descriptions, but some items are inherently code-related. I produced this list by reading the changelog on WordPress’ development system, and reading the changes in the code (not just the descriptions of the tickets that were fixed) for each change.

If you’re more interested in specific details of what was changed than this overview, please look at the Trac changelog, which is the scary hive of code and dev-speak that I have interpreted for you here.

Filling Up at Turkey Hill

Around here, Wawa is really the only place to go if you have need of a convenience store. The stores are clean, the workers are more often courteous, the food is fresh, and their gas is the cheapest at the pump. Everything else plays second fiddle to Wawa. Especially Turkey Hill.

The think about Turkey Hill is I've never seen one that wasn't the armpit of America. Even the ones whose masonry hasn't yet solidified are the grungiest-looking place you'd ever stoop to buying food. I don't know what it is about those places, but they must paint on the grime to get them to look like that.
