Haven’t I been talking about the end of civilization in regard to this whole oil shortage thing?

Last night Berta and I did all of our Christmas shopping except for one person. as Pat says, if you didn’t make a list, you didn’t get a gift.

Still, I feel like I’m missing out on something by not going to the mall and winding my way through the crowds. I’ve always been fairly adept at surfing mall crowds; weaving in and out of the people and getting to the store that I want to shop in. I’m like a ghost in the machine. I’ve got weird mall-dar.

After the past day of WordPress documentation list discussion, I’m thinking about a forum plugin for WordPress. It would basically let you create new bulletin boards, post messages, etc. Of course, it would use EzStatic to embed into the WordPress layout.

Combine that with some online issue tracking software, too?

Last week our home communication network came to a screeching halt.

Our phone hasn’t been working right in a while. Everything was good for a while after I rewired everything, but then things slowly started to degrade. The line to the corded wall phone in the kitchen went dead. Then the line to the cordless phone went dead. So we had no phone. Actually, this happened back on Halloween, the night of the break-in.
