I've been trying to get ahead on my Christmas gifts, and I recently placed an order with Amazon to get a bunch of things all at once.

When they came in, I proceeded to wrap them.  I started out with a certain methodology for wrapping, but as I ran out of paper, I just used what I had left.

Anyway, I totally forget what things I wrapped with what paper.  In fact, I can't even remember what the things I got for each person are!

I do remember a few things that I tried to do while I was wrapping.  See if you can figure out what present is for which person and what wrapping paper I used to wrap it...

  1. Four gifts I ordered from Amazon arrived on the same day, which were either a book, a DVD, or a game.
  2. I wrapped those items using different rolls of two-color wrapping paper.  Under the tree, the packages were red, green, and gold.  (Each package is wrapped with paper that consists of exactly 2 colors.)
  3. I wrote out tags for all of the gifts for Abby, Berta, Patrick, and Dave, but now that they're under the tree, I forget which tag goes on which package!  Moreover, I forget which thing I got for each person!
  4. I wrapped the girls' presents in paper that included gold as one of the colors, and when I was done there wasn't enough paper with gold in it to wrap the single game I got.
  5. Dave's DVD player is garbage, so I didn't bother getting him a DVD.
  6. I remember thinking it was odd that most of the presents had green in them, and although Berta likes green, her gift didn't have green in its wrapping paper.
  7. Looking at it again, I think one of the gifts with green in its wrapping is a DVD - I can tell by the shape.
  8. Running low on paper, I gave up on using the colors to keep the gifts straight and used the last of the paper from Abby's gift to wrap Dave's.

Can you help me? (Select the black-on-black text in the box below for the answer.)
