Two people registered as users on the site today. Uh, why?

I mean, I don’t care if you do, but you’re not getting anything out of it. I mean, you can’t write posts (except for on FFAF), and I don’t send newsletters or anything to registered users. Registered users aren’t even afforded the bonus of allowing their comments to be automatically approved. (You need to be level 3 for that, FYI, and I’m the only user around here with a level higher than 2, so…)

If you want to receive posts from this site in your email, you need to sign up with Bloglet. That’s the box near the top of the page. Not the search box, but the one a few pixels under that one. Put your email address in there, push the button, and sign up with Bloglet. You will get daily (assuming I write something every day) emails with Asymptomatic blog posts in it.

OR…

You can always read this site with a feed reader. I recently switched the site over to output the full post content into the RSS, so you can read the whole thing inside the feed reader. What you don’t get is images. So if you want to see the images, you’ve got to come here. Fair compromise, I think.

Anyway, I mean to tell you, don’t stop registering for the site if you really want to. But if you want something in return, sign up in the Bloglet box instead, and you’ll get Asymptomatic in your email. That simple.

Maybe I should put a warning of sorts on the registration page. Hmm…
