Before I go into a description of the madness I’ve committed myself to today, allow me to extend greetings to my Blogathon monitor, Alicia, who stopped by last night to say hello. Hi there.

Thridly, I’d like to thank everyone who called the Asymptomatic hotline (+1 484 237 4040 - still open) to help me out with the intro for today’s project. And what is today’s project?
Almost Friday. It’s a serial sitcom audioplay about a guy who works at an advertising agency, who gets into trouble at work and home, and eventually - though often not as he would prefer - works his way out of his trouble.
You can listen to one of the pre-existing Almost Friday preview episodes to get the flavor of the thing. The old recording was done with some cheap equipment, but still sounds pretty good. Today’s effort will be done on an all new rig, and should sound superfine.
Everything I do today is currently unwritten, unrecorded, and unproduced. Not a single file or bit of text exists for anything that will show up here today. Feel my stress.
Soon, I’m going to remix audio for the intro, which will include all of the recordings from the hotline as I can fit. If you leave more audio than is required (currently just “almost friday”) you may make my outtake reel later tonight! I will probably change the message at some point this morning to use different instructions, so keep an eye out for a message telling you to call again. If you didn’t already leave your site address in the message, maybe you’d want to do that?
Ok, so off we go. I hope to have the first round online very soon, in spite of having, well, nothing to get me started. :)
