First Day Back

Today was Berta’s first day back to work since Riley was born, and everything so far seems to be going smoothly.

The contentious bit was whether our morning routine would go off without a problem. We have to get up, shower and dress, get Abby up and dressed, and get out the door with all of our required equipment. We have to cart Abby to school in the morning, which adds about 20-40 minutes to our travel time to work, and someone has to wait for Nana to arrive so that we don’t leave Riley alone at home.

Mouse Motion

I installed this little application today called MouseImp Pro. It lets you do some crafty things with scrolling. That’s its intent, anyway. But I noticed that it has an odometer, and that I’ll be breaking 90 meters of mouse movement - the distance I’ve moved the mouse around on my desk, not the distance the cursor has moved around on the screen - in the single day I’ve had it installed.

If I make it an extra 1.44 meters, totalling 91.44m, I’ll have pushed my mouse the length of a football field today!

Comment Moderation is Now Off

I got some comment spam today in my moderation queue (trapped by OSA 1.1, actually) that pointed to a live blog in addition to the traditional “you may be interested in” spam links. I checked out the blog and found this page, which I thought was quite humorous.

I took a screenshot to share it with you, since they’re likely to fix the problem if they’re a legit site. I didn’t include a link to them since they may yet be affiliated with spamming.
