Just a little older
I’m longing for the day when the kids are old enough to have games that I will enjoy playing as much as they do. This year’s Christmas wasn’t bad, though.

No, I didn’t abandon the blog. I’m just not attached to the computer over my vacation days, which last until next Monday.
I’ve got a decent bit to write about, what with Christmas events passing and all. Really, I’ve been spending more time doing real-world things, which seems a healthier practice on the whole.
Pat and I went out yesterday in the heavy rain in search of some furniture. We went all sorts of places, but not for furniture.
First we stopped at the Goodwill to deposit some clothes donations. These plastic bags of clothes have been sitting in Berta’s car for weeks, her intention being to donate them. Every time we want to use the back seat of her car or the trunk, we have to throw the bags around. So I finally took them up. Yay, they’re gone!
Berta stopped by work with Riley for lunch today. We went over to the new Applebee’s in Thorndale.
The people there are freaky.
I layed around in bed a little this morning, and then I tried to stave off the vomit. No, it wasn’t me, it was everyone around me. I’m beginning to take it personally.
I got Abby up after my shower this morning, like I usually do on her school days. Berta was already awake feeding Riley. When I finished in the bathroom and got dressed, we all headed downstairs. I was carrying Riley and Abby and Berta were a little behind.
