The writing at this web log is pretty good. The sound effects are also not grating on the nerves. This guy is apparently within 25 miles of home.

GeoURL is a darn cool service. It tells you who has a blog nearby your own. Be sure to check out who is physically near Asymptomatic. Actually, my computer room - the coordinates seem pretty exact. I'll have to verify them with Berta's handheld GPS.
Also of interest is this ACME mapper service, which can show you a map of any area you put in. My house shows up targeted for the coordinates I specified for GeoURL. Here's Berta's parent's house in Johnstown.
I had my appointment this evening with my writing teacher. It turns out he might be one of those good teachers that actually is helpful. A rare feature.
Anyway, we had some productive time talking about my paper, and he actually had some good contributions. I think this might be one of the rare if not the only times I've had a conference with a teacher that didn't end up with me in trouble of some kind. What a relief.

Well, I sent out my interview to Matt Haughey and have received a response. Too bad that I didn't wait until after last night's class to do it, though.
I was thinking yesterday that interviewing people over the net isn't really such a bad thing. After all, you send them email, and if they want to, they answer your questions. As long as you don't say anything untrue about them, how can they complain? Besides, this is just for a class project, so it's not going anywhere by my teacher.
