There were many celebrations for Abby’s 3rd birthday. Some pictures have been posted here.
There are only a few pictures of Abby from her birthday because the batteries in the digital camera went dead. Mom is supposed to have a few more from Abby’s party at school, so I hope to get digital versions of those to put online.
Berta put a lot of effort into getting a party together for Abby's class at school. She ordered some party supplies from Birthday Express to the theme of Disney's movie, Home on the Range. We had seen it with Abby the week before, so we thought it would be a cool theme.
You can see pictures of the cowboy hats and gift boxes, which contained a bunch of cowperson-oriented stuff, like a bandana, a sheriff star, and a small stuffed cow. There were baloons with cows on them, too. Berta even baked some cupcakes with little cow and pig faces on them. The picture isn't great, since the good ones were all eaten by the time the camera was recharged, but you get the idea.
I have movies of the evening after school when we had a barbeque at the house for her party at home, but I haven't converted them though the computer yet. Expect those when I get some more time to do some editing.
