Uganda - 27 million people.
Ukrane - 47 million.
United Arab Emirates - 2 million.
United Kingdom - 60 million.
United States - 295 million.

I'm willing to accept that most people don't use a computer like I do.  So I'm going to tell you how I select my country (the good ol' U.S. of A.) from dropdown lists in online forms and you're going to say "Huh?" but bear with me.

You click the dropdown button.  You type the letter "U" until "United States" appears.

So you can see why I'm annoyed that all of these dropdown lists online are in pure alphabetical order.

Perhaps a better solution would be to organize them first by first letter, and then by population.  That way, you're more likely to hit the country you live in on the first or second try.  Even people in the UK could assent to this, because they'd move up in the list from fourth to second place.

Here's another question about these dropdown lists:  Does anyone really live in Palau?

Palau - 20,303 people
Pennsylvania - 12 million.

Can Pennsylvania please be moved up in the state list?  My town of Downingtown has 41,393 people in it - double Palau.  I mean, come on!

Thank you for bearing with me.  I will now continue to click/type twice instead of once to fill out online forms.
