Ha! I find this stupidly amusing:
This is a section of the Dashboard in one of my WordPress test sites. Someone (hi, Donncha) has managed to get a Technorati link to http://localhost
on their site, and now there are incoming links to my localhost that show up on my WP Dashboard.
The next thing you know, there will be spammers everywhere putting links to localhost, targetted at WordPress hackers, who will be watching these spam links go by on their test sites. I guess I should drop an alias into my hosts file to use instead of localhost.
This only happens if you run a test site on your own system, and address that system By “http://localhost”.
