Yup, I suck again. I am so not into the movies this summer. Of course, for the last couple of years, I really haven’t been.
I loved the Star Wars movie, of course. And that’s the only one I’ve seen this summer, I do believe. I’m supposed to take Sarah to Madagascar, but I guess I’ve been putting it off. Nothing out there is really so interesting.
But here’s my take…
I guess we’ll go see the Dukes of Hazzard next month… or is it Hazaard? Anyway, Steve grew up on the series and though we both know the movie will suck (thank you Jessica Simpson and Seann William Scott), we’ll probably go anyway.
War of the Worlds? I don’t think I could stand that right now after all the crap that has spewed forth from the mouth of Tom Cruise. No, I don’t want to look at his face right now. :P
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory might be kinda cool… but a certain someone is constantly saying that Johnny Depp looks gay and after a while, that starts to seep into your brain. On the other hand, I found the original movie completely creepy, why would I want to put myself through that torture again?
Sky High? What in the you-know-what is wrong with Kurt Russel? Need I say more? Please.
Must Love Dogs? Could there BE a stupider title for this one? I mean, I thought How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days had the worst title, but now I don’t know. (Yes, my Stalker Girl posts are not honoring that movie, they are making fun of it.) Must Love Dogs. How do I make a puky face? I never can remember. Why do they just keep shelling out these absolutely horrid romantic “comedies”? Gah!
Okay, that’s enough.
Yeah, I think I’ll just stay home this summer…
