I told you I would be posting the first full episode of Almost Friday over the weekend (for publication on Monday), but it looks like that’s not going to happen.

As it turns out, I actually have more time to do these things if I thrash myself during the week by staying up until all hours. The weekend simply held too many other distractions. Having other people around (Berta, Abby, Riley) is distracting, and I feel ignorant if I try to drown everything out with the MP3 player while sitting in front of the computer.

I will need to devise a more doable schedule for Almost Friday, which is part of the development process. Please bear with me and keep watching this space for my eventual publication. I really hope to make this a reasonably regular serial publication.

This week is going to be hell anyway, since all indicators point to WordPress 1.5 being released tomorrow. I really have to work on plugin upgrades, or there’s going to be mass hysteria.
