I traded in all of the Pepsi bottle cap codes for iTunes, and I've created a full CD of music to listen to.
I don't vouch for any of the artists on this list. They're all something that sounded vaguely interesting to me at one point or another.
- A Little Respect - Erasure
- Bodyrock - Moby
- Complicated - Avril Lavigne
- Day-O - Harry Belafonte
- Freak of the Week - Marvelous 3
- Freek-A-Leek - Petey Pablo
- Happiness Is - The Verve Pipe
- Hush - Kula Shaker
- No Woman No Cry - Bob Marley
- Purple Haze - The Jimi Hendrix Experience
- Superstition - Stevie Wonder
- The Hardest Button to Button - The White Stripes
- Where the Streets Have No Name - U2
- Why Does It Always Rain On Me - Travis
I also threw an MP3 of Jay-Z's "Get Low" on there, and I had a version of Methods of Mayhem's "Get Naked", but it was a poor recording and had key words bleeped out.
Note that none of the songs in the list above exist on an album that I own. I'm pretty surprised at a few of them (U2, Kula Shaker, Erasure), but, hey, you can't just buy every CD that you fancy.
Thankfully, Pepsi eased that woe. Unfortunately, I think the era of the Pepsi iScam is over, since I haven't been able to find any winning caps on local bottles of Diet Pepsi. So it's back to Diet Vanilla Coke for me. Yum!
