Only one week left until Christmas, and I've got nothing done. Well, next to nothing. At least my presentation for work is over.
Last night I did a presentation for the Philly.net users group on kSkin and the Image Designer. Expect for the one time that I totally forgot what I was supposed to say (and just stood there for 30 seconds saying nothing), I think everything went smoothly. I also forgot to tell them to fill out the surveys. And mention the $1000 contest. But, hey. The culmination of a week's work... And what do I have to show for it? More presentations in the future. Oh, well.
Anyway, I concocted a list of gifts to get for various people today. So when we go out shopping tonight we should be able to pick some things up and be ready for gift exchange. I'm concerned about getting things for Abby. I mean, I know she needs things, specific toys, but I dono... I'm not really sure what my concern is. I feel like I'm not doing enough or something.
Aside from that, I added some commenting functionality to PageCat (and thereby, Asymptomatic). So you can read the comment that I added directly to the MySQL database for the "Four Point Oh" article on the home page. The main hurdle was figuring out how to define all of the necessary tags to display the comment data. That overcome, getting the information from the database was a snap. It should all be relatively easy to implement when it's done.
I wanted to say something here about holidays and visiting family and stuff, but maybe I'll cover that tomorrow when I might have more time. For now, it's off to the store to pick up some goodies. Whee!
