Ok, it’s not quite done yet, but if you’re on the subscription list you might want to stop by and check out the new look of the web site.
I’m gearing up for a switch over to WordPress 1.3, which has some significant changes, including a template manager. This thing should let users package a website style and switch easily from one style to another using the administration interface.
Also, there is some of my own code in the 1.3 version of WordPress! I wrote some of the new upgrade functions (which was changed radically after I submitted it, but the core function I wrote is fundamentally the same), and a function that helps out with saving your permalink rules as commands for mod_rewrite. Anyhow, you probably won’t notice either of these things working, since they’re both background operations.
But see what you think of the new layout and push some buttons on it to see if you can find more things that aren’t working right. If there are things missing that you’re used to seeing, let me know and I’ll see if I can put them back or direct you to their new locations.
