This Sunday we're going to the PA Renaissance Faire again. I can't remember if we went last year, but I don't think so. I believe that Sunday is the last day this season for the Faire, so if it rains then we will probably have to wait until next year. It's getting a bit too cold these days to trudge around in the dirt and mud to see the same shows that we see almost every year without change.
Hopefully Abby will be more appreciative of the outdoor time and activities, such as the joust and pig shows. (I hear they have a new pig, but I could be wrong.) This weekend is a Halloween theme week, and people are invited to dress up in costumes (not necessarily the traditional 16th-century costumes).
Also this weekend, we're going to go to the orchard to pick out a pumpkin or two. I'm hoping to get a few apples, too. Fresh apples from the orchard are always better than what you can get at the store. They apparently don't have a web site. Hmm...
