I have a couple of development projects on the burners. I’ve resurrected BAStats for my coding play time, and there’s another project that I’m not talking about yet, but it’s going to be huge!

BAStats is running pretty well. The tracker has been running here for the past week or so, and the stats are pouring in. I will soon need testers for the plugin, at the very least to start gathering a dataset to play with before everything is complete. I’m going to have data folding done today. Or that’s the plan, anyway. If I do finish that, then I’ll build an installer (it needs two new tables), and the tracker component will be ready to deploy.

But beyond the computer…

It turns out that Abby has a bit of strep throat. The doctor says she should be ok in a day or two, hopefully meaning that she’ll be ok for weekend activities. At least, I hope so.

This Sunday is the Rotary Chili Cookoff in West Chester. We’ve gone in previous years and had quite a good time. I’m hoping to try it again this year, and it gives me a good excuse to call some friends and see if they’re into it.

Of course, Sunday afternoon is football, and of particular interest is the Eagles/Cowboys game. I’m anxious to see how T.O. performs back in Philly, under the glaring eye of thousands of Philly fans. It should be entertaining. My evil plan is to go get chili, and then drag anyone who shows up back to my house to watch the game. Since none of my friends have been to see the house yet, perhaps they will consent.

What’s Saturday look like? I have no idea. At some point, I would like to go out to eat. We’ve had every meal at home for so long, I don’t know if I’ll remember how to behave around people. And the same probably goes for the kids. And Berta. Nah, Berta’s always well-behaved.

I’m sure there’s something I’m forgetting, but that’s my exciting weekend all planned out. I might write a little more over the weekend on my writing project. Berta was complaining about how large my project count is yesterday. There are so many things I want to do, though.
