Tomorrow night, Pat’s flight arrives. I think I’ll be going into the city in the afternoon for the WordPress meetup, and then staying for the Weblogger meetup. After that, I’ll head over to World Cafe Life to meet with Laura about a new space for our meetup.
Whenever I’m done there, I might head into the city to do some shopping, since I haven’t done any yet this season. Nobody’s getting gifts from me!
I’ll probably try to fit dinner in somehow. I’m sure there is a restaruant or two in Philly.
And then it’s off to the airport. Pat’s flight doesn’t get in until 10-something, so I’ll have to spend some time puttering around the city. I’m sure that won’t be too painful.
I wonder if it will be worthwhile to take a camera with me and take some pictures of some places downtown. I’m sure there is plenty of stuff to see, especially around this time of year.
Tomorrow night there are a couple of interesting concerts. The Trans-Siberian Orchestra has two shows tomorrow, at 3pm and 8pm. And The Donnas are performing at the TLA at 8pm, which a show I would really like to see, but probably won’t have time to fit in. I’ll have to catch them next time they come around.
I’ve been getting writing prompts to use for some writing exercises. I don’t know whether I’ll be posting that writing here or at a group page designed for that purpose. I think I would rather have the content here, but I feel bad about using the prompts and not offering the stories back. I guess I’ll have to think on it.
