While on the road toward lunch today, I saw a guy come around the bend on Marshallton-Thorndale Road and lose control of his car.

It’s one of those things where you’re in your car headed toward something that you don’t know if you want to stop where you are or press on quickly in hopes of avoiding whatever is about to transpire.

His car fishtailed, and I could see him in one of those surreal adrenaline-induced moments, spinning his steering wheel wildly.

I’m not sure why he lost control. The road was only a little wet where he slipped, and by that I mean that there was a slow trickle of melting snow across an otherwise dry road.

This isn’t the first time that this sort of thing has happened. In fact, Mahesh wrecked his car on this particular curve more than once. Thankfully, I’ve never shared this experience.

I was jittery the whole way home, and on my way back, I was perturbed by the guy riding my tail up the snowy alternate route to work.
