I just wanted to note somewhere (and why not the front page?!) that using the word “plugin” in any comments you leave automatically triggers WordPress’ comment moderation here. This is a setting by my own design.
You would think that this would be a bad word for me to select as a filter here, but the general idea is this: Lots of people ask really obvious/stupid questions about plugins. If all of these comments went through instead of going to my email, there would be mass-hysteria - rioting in the streets, Wall Street suicides, cats and dogs mating, etc.
I thought I would mention this because these same people have a tendency to slam their comments into the form several times before realizing that, yes, it really is getting moderated, I really do read my moderated comments, and I actually get pissy when I read the same comment fifty times asking me why their CSS doesn’t work with my plugin without actually providing a link to their site and could I please fix my comments because they don’t work don’t work don’t work don’t work you suck don’t work still there?
What am I thinking? Those people will never read this post! /me rips out hair.
Also, in case you are reading, no, I don’t provide free hosting (ha!), and I will not join your fanlisting (as if!).
