Well, Mahesh has been officially gone for a couple weeks now, and I find myself longing for someone with which to share my work angst in the morning.  I usually say "good morning" to Betty and/or Barry or whoever I happen to pass on my way to my office, but I find that it doesn't offer the same empathetic dispair as saying good morning to Mahesh.  So, in an effort to fix that, here's what I'm looking for:

Development employee seeks peer with IM with whom to exchange "good morning" sentiments and infrequent "damn, this job sucks" during the day.

Weekend Well-Wishing

Saturday was my birthday, and I decided to take off work on the day before.  I think that was a good decision, because Friday turned out to be a pretty good day.

In the morning, Berta, Abby, and I went to Penn's Table in West Chester for breakfast.  I had some chipped beef gravy on toast.  Abby ate a bit of Berta's food, since she had eaten cereal before leaving the house.  It's better to give her food than to have her scream until breakfast arrives.  So that was good.  It's nice in there at 9am on Friday because it's not crowded.
